Jesus knew this man spent a long time in that condition- which points toward omniscience, but does he always know everything? Cite examples was there ever a time when the writer states or hints  Jesus did not know the answer to a question he asked? He did know about the Samaritan’s woman’s living situation

So Jesus asks, Do you want to get well”?

Was he desperately pursuing the world’s solutions whether pagan or religious?

Notice here God came to this man directly without human invitation which distinguishes the divine initiative from the nobleman’s son.

Is there a difference with our approaching the alter @Maranatha and Rev. Bob’s instant miracle crusade prayer cloth?  Even in legitimate healing do we recognize the giver-himself vs. gift-itself?
